Recap: Mountain Pointe Football Boosters Cornhole Tournament

On May 12, we ran a fundraiser cornhole tournament to benefit the Mountain Pointe High School Football Boosters Club at Desert Foothills park. It turned out to be a gorgeous night that made us remember why we live in Arizona.

The tournament started with 25 teams competing in pool play where they competed in matches against the other 3-4 teams in their group. The top 15 teams from pool play advanced to a single elimination tournament where the top three teams won prizes. The entire tournament can be seen HERE. Final results were:

1st Place: Baltazar & Michael
2nd Place: Nate & Preston
3rd Place: Aaron & Giovann

We also ran a LONG TOSS competition to help raise additional funds for the Boosters Club. Aaron finished the night with the longest toss at 46 feet taking home a nice pot of over $150!
