Recap: Peoria Police Officer Association Tournament

On Saturday, February 16, we ran the 1st Annual Cornhole Classic benefiting the Peoria Police Officer Association. Over 200 players and guests came out to Tailgaters Sports Grill in Peoria to support the event. The 74 teams that signed up competed in a double elimination tournament with the top three teams earning prizes. Those teams that went 0-2 had a chance to compete in the 2nd Chance Bracket for bragging rights (and a little cash). Here were the top finishers. (Main Bracket) (2nd Chance Bracket)

• Every Thursday: Weekly event at The QuartHaus is downtown Chandler. All levels welcome.
• March 1: Will 2 Walk Fundraiser Tournament at The QuartHaus in downtown Chandler. Fundraiser/Backyard division and Experienced blind draw.
• March 2: Wags & Bags 4 in Ahwatukee. Open to all fundraiser/backyard players. 64 team limit.
• March 16: Roots & Boots Cornhole Tournament in Queen Creek. All social level players welcome.
• March 30: Harold's Corral in Cave Creek. Social, Intermediate and Advanced divisions. Limited space.
• May 17-19: ACL National Event at Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino in Maricopa (ESPN)
• June 21-23: Conference Event #3 at TBD (multiple divisions)
• July 27-28: Arizona State Cornhole Championships at Ability360 in Phoenix (multiple divisions)
