Recap: We Care Foundation Charity Cornhole Tournament

On Saturday, February 17, we ran a fundraiser cornhole tournament for the We Care Foundation of Arizona at Moon Valley Grill in Phoenix. The We Care Foundation of Arizona is dedicated to raising funds to provide less-fortunate families in central Arizona with a more pleasant holiday experience.

Teams competed in a double-elimination tournament for cash and prizes. Nick & Wayne took the top prize beating Carlos & Josh in a sudden death championship. Tom & Brett rounded out the top three teams. See the full tournament HERE. In addition to the tournament, the foundation sold raffle tickets to raise money for the cause. Pat B. won the raffle and will receive a custom set of cornhole boards.

• Saturday, February 24: Harold's Corral in Cave Creek. $1,500 in Cash and Prizes. Beginner, Competitive (formerly Intermediate) and Advanced divisions doubles, Competitive (formerly Intermediate) and Advanced Singles. *ACL Regional singles and doubles
• Saturday, March 3: 3rd Annual Wags & Bags Fundraiser Tournament (2 divisions - social and experienced)
• Saturday, March 10: Running of the Bills Duck Race & Cornhole Tournament in Scottsdale (2 divisions - social and experienced)
• Thursday-Sunday, March 15-18: American Cornhole League National Event in Las Vegas (3 divisions - social, competitive and advanced. Singles, Doubles and Crew Cup)
• Saturday, March 24: Great American Barbeque and Beer Fest in Chandler. Beginner, Competitive (formerly Intermediate) and Advanced divisions doubles, Competitive (formerly Intermediate) and Advanced Singles. *ACL Regional singles and doubles
• Friday-Saturday, June 15-16: 2018 Arizona State Cornhole Championships. Divisions include Juniors 13 and under, Juniors 18 and under, women-only, seniors 55+, beginner, intermediate and advanced.
