11/4/2018 Recap: Wild West Shoot OutOn November 2-4, we ran the 8th Annual Wild West Shoot Out. In total, over 250 players from 13 different states competed in 10 different events. Of those 250+ players, there were roughly 85 different players who earned a portion of the $15,000 in prize money! We jammed a lot of bags into a short amount of time and didn't quite get to everything we wanted but we are excited with how the event turned out. Below is a summary of each event. We took some pictures throughout the event. You can view them on our Facebook page HERE. Please send additional pictures to us through Messenger, text (6028851608) or email (info@kbkornholegames.com) and we will add them to the album. A special thank you to Ray Sandoval at Original Cornhole Company for supplying the boards for the event and to Palace Station Hotel and Casino for the space to host our event. Cochran Cup A unique aspect of the Wild West Shoot Out is that all of the players are not only competing individually or as a team of two, they are all competing for their state for a chance to earn the newly named Cochran Cup, after the late Las Vegas director, Damon Cochran. This year, California edged out Arizona to hoist the cup and take it back to California where it will make the rounds throughout the state for the next year. Congratulations California! Designed as a social tournament to kick off the event, each team was randomly assigned players with an effort to have players from at least three different states. The top four teams split the $1,000 in prize money
