Our 6th annual season opening event has a new twist this year - the SOUTH is now their own region! This is an event you DON'T WANT TO MISS! The East has won every year so far but now have two regions fighting to take home the Bert Adams Trophy.
Along with the East vs West Competition, we are going to celebrate last season's Arizona State Cornhole Champions by presenting them with their championship jersey sponsored by Shot Kings Cornhole and start the new season in style!

SPACE IS LIMITED TO 32 TEAMS PER REGION FOR THIS EVENT!!

East vs West Competition

The East vs West Competition started back in 2016 and in 2018, the East vs West trophy was renamed the Bert Adams Trophy to honor the Hall of Famer and one of the living legends in the Arizona cornhole world. The event has grown year after year and has allowed us to expand into a South region.
For the first three years, the East dominated the participation and the overall points but as the West side grew the competition got tighter in 2019. With the explosion in popularity and increased number of venues to compete at over the past 18 months, the West is bound to make a run for the trophy this year. |
East vs West vs South Boundaries
EAST boundaries will include the Phoenix area and everyone east of Central Ave and down to the I-8 freeway. (Casa Grande, Maricopa, and Coolidge will be part of the East)
WEST boundaries include the Phoenix area and everyone west of Central Ave. (Prescott, Flagstaff, and Lake Havasu will be part of the West)
SOUTH boundaries include everything south of the I-8. (Tucson, Yuma, and Morenci will be part of the South)
There are a few players in the Arizona City and Eloy area that can choose the side they'll play on based on where they typically play.

Player Memberships
ACL points reset on October 1. This event will count towards the first regional event of the 2021-2022 season. Go to app.iplayacl.com > My Account to sign up for your season's ACL membership. If you do not have any money in your ACL Digital Wallet you will need to add money first (digital wallet located in the slide out menu). If it's your first time logging in since August then you will need to first reset your password as part of our updated security.

All of the winners from the 2022 Arizona State Championships will get their State Champion jersey presented to them between the Rounders and Elimination Rounds of the EvWvS Competition. Visit www.azchof.com/statechampions.html to view all of the 2021 Arizona State Champions.

Saturday Schedule
- 9:00am: Doors Open
- 10:30am: Rounders Play (by Region)
- All of the teams in each territory will compete against other teams in their territory
- The results will split the teams into 3-4 skill level divisions (Open, Advanced, Competitive, Intermediate)
- 3pm: Arizona State Cornhole Championship Jersey Presentation
- 3:30pm: Elimination round
- Teams from each of the regions will be placed into a double elimination bracket with teams from the other regions
- Finishing results from each skill level division will earn points for their region
- The region with the most points at the end of the event will win the Bert Adams Trophy
- 7:30pm: Join us for our first H9Y Halloween Party. Prizes and contests!
SUNDAY EVENTS
- 2021-2022 Frequent Player Invitational at 12pm
- 2021-2022 Copper Club Invitational at 4pm

Payouts
75% of all entry fees will be paid out to the top teams. Payouts will be divided across all four divisions
- OPEN: 50% of the prize pool plus MONEY added to the pot!
- ADVANCED: 25% of the prize pool
- COMPETITIVE: 15% of the prize pool
- INTERMEDIATE: 10% of the prize pool

You be register for this event through the ACL web-app. You will need to load money into your ACL Digital Wallet so that you can register.

- Go to app.iplayacl.com and log in (if you do not know your username or password then please contact todd@iplaycornhole.com
- Tap the WALLET button on the main screen.
- Tap to Add Money to ACL Wallet.
- Follow the prompts to load money into your Digital Wallet. NOTE: If you are a Gold or Platinum member then you do not need to pay the transaction fee. It will appear as though you are paying that fee but you are not.
- Once loaded, you will be able to use these funds to pay for ACL entry fees. Payouts will automatically be distributed to your Digital Wallet at the conclusion of the event.

- Locate EAST VS WEST VS SOUTH COMPETITION and tap on the registration for YOUR side
- Register for the desired events and pay using the Digital Wallet

- Scroll until you find YOUR SIDE for the EAST VS WEST VS SOUTH COMPETITION
