Event Recap: Ahwatukee Battle of the Businesses

On Saturday, October 14th, we ran The Battle of the Businesses fundraiser cornhole tournament at Ahwatukee Park. Twenty-one businesses came out to support the event that benefited the Kiwanis Foster Youth's Christmas Drive and AFCC Young Entrepreneurial Academy.

The teams participated in the two-stage tournament. All teams first completed pool play in groups of four or five. Next, all of teams advanced to a single elimination tournament, based on their record in pool play, with the top three teams winning prizes. Congratulations to Vision Community Management for going undefeated and winning the tournament! Kiwanis Club of Ahwatukee fought hard after a tough pool play and came in 2nd place.
