 On Saturday, November 18, we ran the 2nd Annual #LiveLikeLexi Charity Cornhole Tournament at Majerle's Sports Grill in Chandler. We had a total of 60 teams competing in two divisions - social, intermediate. The event planners organized an amazing event with food, vendors, live music, kids' games and of course, the cornhole tournament. In both divisions, we started out with pool play with groups of 4 & 5 teams. From there, every team advanced to the single elimination round where they competed for the prize money. In the Social division, the Studmuffins (Alec & Gavin) came back from a big deficit to win the championship. The Cardinals (Maddison & Noah) fought hard with the support of their huge cheering section to come in 2nd place. In the consolation bracket, Team Oceano (John & Michelle) and Los Elloteros (Kat & Ramon) competed in an exciting match with Team Oceano winning to take 3rd place. See the full tournament HERE. In the Intermediate division, Empire Cat sponsors - Team Cornole U (Ken & Lori) successfully defended their championship by winning the event for the 2nd year in a row. Grunkle n Sons (Ron & Trevor) took 2nd place cruising into the championship before running into the returning champs. In the consolation game, Wrong Hole (Garrett & Scott) took down El Jefe (Mike & Troy )to win 3rd place. See the full tournament HERE. Check out our FACEBOOK page for event images.
