Recap: BeneVet Cornhole Funfest

On Saturday, May 15, forty-six teams competed (and fought the wind) in the BeneVet Cornhole Funfest in Camp Verde. The teams competed a two-stage event. In the first stage, teams played a four game round robin. Results from Stage 1 divided the teams into either a Upper or Lower division single elimination bracket. The top three teams in the each bracket won prizes donated by the local community. Proceeds from the event are used to purchase needed equipment and supplies for the Prescott VA and support Northern Arizona  Veterans Organizations. Each veteran at the event was presented with a small gift as a way to show thanks for their years of service (see video below).
