Recap: San Diego ACL Open

The San Diego ACL Open did not disappoint! Over 500 players from all over the country (Maine to Hawaii) came together at Town & Country Resort in San Diego to compete for almost $40,000 in prize money! There were some exciting moments and amazing matches all around, capping off with an epic battle between Josh Holland and Trey Burchfield in the final match of the event.

Below, the top three of each event are listed along with winner photos and top 10 in stats for each event that used the Bag Tracker. Congratulations to Drea Flores who won the Admission Raffle $250 prize!

Special thanks to Danel Resurreccion and the entire staff of Town & Country for opening their space to us. Thank you to Richard Morgan who tag-teammed the event with me and helped with a lot of the pre-event logistics! I couldn't pulled this event off without him. Thank you to Mark Pryor for streaming the event all weekend and for catching that monster final match. Thank you to David Brown and his crew for bringing additional sets of boards and setting them up for the event. Thank you to Jodi Lim and crew for helping to set up and break down boards before and after the event. Thank you to Lalo and his DJ crew for entertaining us and keeping the party lively all weekend. Thank you to Diome for the amazing photos taken Saturday morning and afternoon! Awesome shot getting most of the group together. Finally, thanks to Erin for coming out of retirement to come to San Diego and handle the admissions all weekend long! I apologize in advance if I missed anyone here. Hopefully I was able to show my appreciation for your help during the event.
