Recap: 3rd Annual Battle of the Bags at Founder's Day

On September 22nd, we ran the 3rd Annual Battle of the Bags cornhole tournament at Founder's Day in Queen Creek. This social level event included 19 teams who competed in a four game round robin to determine seeding where the top 16 teams advanced to a single elimination tournament. Antoine & Alex went undefeated through round robin and the elimination round to earn the victory. After a 2-2 round robin, Kip & Jordan fought the champs hard but ultimately fell in the finals, earning 2nd place. Tarin and Nic rounded out the top three with a victory in the 3rd place game. • Saturday, October 20: Billy Moore Days in Avondale. Social and Experienced divisions.
• Saturday, October 27: Oktoberfest at Ginger Monkey in Chandler. Social players welcome.
• November 2-4: 8th Annual Wild West Shoot Out in Las Vegas. Multiple divisions available.
